Surfing and being near the ocean is my absolute favorite and brings me so much joy and life lessons. Sharing the ocean, yoga, and wellness with kids while being able to foster passion, joy, and health into their lives is a dream come true.
My surf camps for Kids, ages 8+, will take place on Wrightsville Beach. Camps will run Monday-Thursday (8:30-11:30am, unless otherwise stated) with Friday serving as a make up day as needed for inclement weather. If Friday is not needed due to weather, it can be used as a drop in day for campers that need the full week.
(Weeks available for kids ages 6 & 7 upon request: camps with *** are designated for ages 6 & 7).
Along with surfing as much as possible, each week includes yoga, crafts, boogie boarding, beach games, and ocean safety. With a 2:1, camper to instructor ratio, your child will receive the attention he/she deserves in a comfortable setting shared with their closest, and/or new friends.
The option to add a "mommy & me" lesson, so that moms and children are able to connect, explore, and learn together, is available. (These will be scheduled separately outside of normal camp hours).

This year, I’m incorporating Blue Mind themes into each day of kids’ surf camp—introducing simple, age-appropriate ways to connect with the ocean beyond just riding waves. Inspired by the science of how water supports calm, focus, and emotional well-being, these daily moments will help kids tune into their senses, breathe with intention, and build confidence through their connection with the sea.
What is Blue Mind?
Blue Mind is a term coined by marine biologist Dr. Wallace J. Nichols to describe the calm, meditative state we enter when we’re in, on, or near water. Scientific research shows that being around water can lower stress, improve focus, boost creativity, and support emotional regulation. Whether it’s the sound of waves, the rhythm of paddling, or the feeling of floating, water has a unique ability to help us reset and reconnect. In my surf programs, I weave this powerful concept into each session—helping kids (and adults!) experience the emotional and mental benefits of time in the ocean.
